Yohji Yamamoto 山本 耀司

Yōji Yamamoto 山本 耀司, Yamamoto Yōji, born 1943. He started his own company in 1972, producing his first collection in Tokyo in 1976. He expresses his philosophy and avant-garde spirit in his clothing, frequently creating designs far removed from current trends.

I loved his final silhouette (scored with an alternating mix of Purple Haze & Ave Maria) a simple slogan tee shirt  “THIS IS ME THIS IS ME THIS IS ME THIS IS ME”, paired with a bright yellow A-line skirt flaring out in a bizarre inflatable fabric.
